SEEKING: TALENT MANAGER

The South Fremantle Football Club are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to fulfil the club's Talent Manager role.

The role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, with a close working relationship with the General Manager, Football & Community.

The Talent Manager shall lead, manage and drive the high-performance of South Fremantle's Talent program, associated teams, competitions and programs.

- Advanced understanding of high-performance teams cultures
- Experience and skills within football clubs, and club management
- An ability to motivate and inspire staff and volunteers
- Highly developed presentation and negotiation skills
- Time management and advanced organisational skills
- Dedication to growth and achieving targets & timeframes through a strong work ethic


Specific Responsibilities: 

Talent Leadership

- Lead the Club’s Talent activities holistically, reporting to the CEO/GM Football on key matters
- Management and supervision of Colts and Futures Coaches, structures and personnel
- Support the Club pathway with input and expertise into the Talent and Football committees
- Management of the Talent calendar, events and schedules, for all parties
- Engage in player and staff welfare, requirements and general support across the season

Talent Department Management & Coordination

- Fully plan, deliver, review and evaluate Talent needs across our Male (and Female) programs
- Devise and deliver Regional Talent activities and opportunities, supporting partners
- Ensure all game day requirements are well structured, planned and delivered, as best practice
- Ensure all Talent integration opportunities are optimised during match-day and event settings
- Develop and implement Talent ID and nurture strategies, to better our lists and our people

Stakeholder Development

- Foster external relationships, to drive benefit for Cub community, brand and financial goals
- Maintain highly effective internal relationships
- Ensure effective communication across all parties regarding club-wide activities and initiatives
- Promote the Club in a positive, professional manner at all times, in all engagements
- Seek to grow relationships with other organisations and individuals, to support Club strategies
