2021 ANNUAL REPORT RELEASED

Tuesday, December 7, 2021 - 8:43 PM by Chris Pike

IN conjunction with the South Fremantle Football Club's Annual General Meeting held at Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Monday night, the Annual Report for 2021 has been released and is available for everyone.

It was another memorable season for the South Fremantle Football Club in so many ways in 2021, and that is all summed up in the Annual Report and Year Book.

What most Bulldogs members will be wanting to know first and foremost is the financial performance of the club in 2021, and the news is good once again on that front.

Chief Executive Cameron Britt was delighted with not only the financial performance of the Bulldogs in 2021, but everything the club achieved on and off the field.

"I am very pleased that our club met every moment with a positive mindset, and we were able to generate some outstanding results both on and off the field of play," Britt said.

"Strong growth and financial returns are again a hallmark of our year, following the ‘remarkable’ 2020 season and all that it entailed.

"We set sails in 2021 to deliver high-performance football programs, to support our people and to grow our membership and fan engagement, activity that would need to be unpinned by a commercial return that our members would be satisfied with. We have achieved our mission, and then some.

A small sample of highlights from our accomplished 2021 season include; Contesting the 2021 WAFL and Rogers Cup Grand Finals; Welcoming many debutants, male and female, to South Fremantle teams; Delivering a net profit of more than $200,000 for our members; Hosting our 2021 NAIDOC Round game with great respect and fervour."

The Annual Report and Year Book released for 2021 is another document that all South Fremantle members should be proud of to commemorate the memorable season.

There is something for everyone included too with it featuring all the reports you are after from President Peter Christie, CEO Cameron Britt, GM Football/Community Marty Atkins, Talent Manager Clayton Anderson, Stephen Michael Foundation CEO Paul Mugambwa, and Past Players and Officials Association President Ray Van Burgel.

There's also plenty of football reports including those from Youth Girls coach Craig McNaughton, Women's Reserves coach Mark Murphy, WAFLW coach Beau McCormack, WAFL coach Todd Curley, reserves coach Arthur Maskos and colts coach Larry Cavallo along with senior captains Dylan Main and Lauren Vecchio.

There is plenty more too including a full breakdown of the 2021 season with all the results from the men's and women's teams, and full player lists along with a rundown of each and every league game.

There's a rundown on the fairest and best winners across the board along with special features on retiring pair Blayne Wilson and Brock Higgins, the milestones celebrated this season and the debutants who took the field.

There's also a breakdown on the state representatives, an update on South Fremantle's AFL-listed players, and special features on the South Fremantle Football Club Hall of Fame, and a special photo section highlighting everything in 2021 on and off the field.
