NALDER COMES HOME
South Fremantle Football Club is pleased to welcome former player, politician and highly-experienced senior business executive Dean Nalder to the Club in the role of co-opted Board Director for 2021.
Hailing from Wagin in the Club’s Upper Great Southern country zone, Nalder recently retired from State Politics after representing the seat of Bateman across a career that included Ministerial roles in both Finance and Transport.
Between 1988 and 1991, Nalder represented South Fremantle Football Club, appearing in 30 WAFL matches for the red and white. He played predominantly as a key position in an era that included Club Legends, Craig Edwards, Maurice Rioli and Peter Sumich.
Nalder is thrilled to return to his original Club, assisting with commercial growth and redevelopment.
“I’m excited to be back and supporting the Bulldogs. I feel privileged to be serving such a great and historic football club” Nalder said.
South Fremantle Football Club President Peter Christie welcomed the appointment of the Club’s newest Director.
“Dean is a well-established professional, with broad commercial and political networks that will be of great benefit to the Club and our key projects”
“As a 30-game past player for the Bulldogs, he brings great passion and an intimate understanding of the WAFL competition, and we warmly welcome him back to the Premier Family Club” Christie said.
Dean Nalder formally commenced with the Club this week.
