Peter Christie - President

After growing up in an avid South Fremantle Football Club family, and playing some Colts footy at South Fremantle in the early 80's where his father Jim was a long-term Committee member in the 1970's and 80's, Peter was asked to join the Board in 2004 by then President Terry Dean.

Peter became Vice President in 2009, holding this position for the next 10 years before being appointed as President of the Club in December 2018, following the retirement of Haydn Raitt. Peter was made a Life Member in 2014.

An Accountant by profession, Peter runs a successful Nedlands-based accounting firm as well as controlling various property and hospitality interests across Western Australia. He is also chair of two ASX-listed resource-based public companies.

Gavin Jahn - Vice President

Gavin joined the Board in 2012 initially as a seconded Board Member and is currently the Vice President of the Club. He is a life-long supporter of the Bulldogs, having followed in his father's footsteps.

Gavin has qualifications in both accounting and law and has previously taught at Curtin University and established a Sports Administration degree course where he taught Sports Law in that program.

Gavin is currently the Football Committee Chair.

Rory Vassallo - Treasurer

Rory joined the Board in 2014, consolidating a long-time family support and sponsorship history. Rory has a broad range of business interests including property development and hospitality concerns, and was the founder and owner of WA's largest childcare brand.

In 10 years of business, Rory has achieved many things and amongst numerous industry accolades, was awarded the prestigious Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year for WA in 2012.

Rory is an avid supporter of WA Football and brings a strong energy to the Bulldogs Family.

Along with Rory's role with the South Fremantle Football Club, he is also a majority owner of the Perth Heat Baseball Club.

Rory is currently the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee.

Liz Houston - Secretary

Liz joined the Board as a seconded Board Member in 2018, having been an active member of the Club since 2013, volunteering to provide support in areas such as function preparation and event logistics, match day assistance and selling raffle tickets and merchandise.

Since joining the Board, Liz has chaired the Operations and Events Committee, been a member of the Governance Committee, provided secretariat services for Board meetings and has represented the Club at various match day and other events with the various WAFL clubs and WAFC.

Liz is currently employed full-time in an Executive Support role with the federal regulator of the offshore oil and gas industry, and has experience in executive recruitment, onshore mining and with a local TAFE.

Liz is currently the Club Secretary and Chair of the Governance, Compliance & Risk Committee.

Hayley Manser - Director

Hayley joined the Board as a seconded Board Member in 2020 and is a long-time supporter of the Club. She has served on two Board Committees for the past three years, the Operations Committee and the Governance Committee. Hayley has also regularly volunteered on match days for the past couple of years, coordinating and attending game day functions, selling raffle tickets and assisting as required with the running of functions.

In her professional life, Hayley is a Risk Manager working for the public service, and brings to the Board risk management, governance and business knowledge from working in a large organisation and particularly working collaboratively together to achieve results. Hayley also has a Bachelor of Legal Studies from Murdoch University.

Hayley is currently the Chair of the Family, Functions & Fundraising Committee.

Don Pasqua - Director

Don was appointed to the Board in 1992 and has been actively involved in assisting the Club in attracting sponsors and overseeing many fundraising activities over the past 29 years as a Director.

Don is the Chairman of the Centurion Club and is the former owner and proprietor of decades long sponsor and Fremantle business institution, Warren's Menswear.

Anthony Van Der Wielen - Director

Anthony joined the Board as an elected Director in 2008 until 2015, and returned to the Club as a Director in 2018. He has enjoyed a rewarding career in real estate and has established himself as one of WA's leading real estate commentators and mentors. Anthony has been providing clients with an honest and upfront approach since joining the industry in 1996. In 2003 he established Empire Property Solutions, a company which he still owns today, specialising in residential real estate.

As the fifth generation of his family living in Fremantle, a passion for Fremantle runs deep in Anthony's blood. Well known by those who live in or around the area, Anthony has an intimate knowledge of the Fremantle people, its rich culture and importantly, its flourishing business community. He is also a member of the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce, and also owns FPS Commercial Property and Empire Sports Management.

Anthony has been an AFLPA accredited agent for over 17 years, was formerly a commissioner of combat sports for the WA government and has coached, guided and mentored many successful individuals in business and sport for many years. Anthony has represented some of the biggest names in WA sport over the past two decades. He offers a wealth of experience and expertise, particularly around complex contract negotiations, media management and wealth generation.

Anthony is currently the Chair of the Future Committee.

Bruce Willis - Director

Bruce joined the Board as an elected Director in 2016, having grown up in a South Fremantle Football Club family (father, Brian, played for Souths in the early 1950s) and has been a lifelong supporter.

Bruce spent most of his working life in the Army, and after retiring from full-time military service was the General Manager of an aerospace business based at Jandakot. He has provided leadership support services to the West Coast Eagles and delivered leadership training to the Western Force, the West Coast Fever and the South Fremantle Football Club.

Bruce's football experience includes playing at junior, senior and Masters levels, being a level 1 Auskick coach and a team manager with the WAFC State Academy program.

He has more than 10 years' experience as a Director on not-for-profit Boards, and his range of qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (Asian Studies), Graduate Diploma in Management and a Masters in Sport Management. He is also a graduate of the Australian Command and Staff College and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Bruce is currently a member of the Football and Governance, Risk & Audit Committees.

Cameron Britt - Chief Executive Officer

Cameron is an experienced sports administration professional, having led commercial, community and fan strategy across multiple sports and brands. Recognised as community minded whilst commercially astute, Cameron has an extensive record in leading high-performing teams to deliver significant business and brand growth outcomes within sport.

Cameron has a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Sports Management, and a Master of Business Administration from Deakin Business School. He has formerly been a Business News WA 40under40 winner, an Australian Institute of Management National 30under30 winner, and a scholarship recipient with Leadership WA.

Cameron joined the South Fremantle Football Club as Chief Executive Officer in 2019. He has previously been CEO of the Joondalup Wolves Basketball organisation, managed community and fan engagement strategies for the Essendon Football Club, including the iconic ANZAC Day and Dreamtime at the 'G AFL fixtures, and spent time as a Director of The Long Walk Indigenous health awareness charity.
