Bulldogs call on supporters, past players to become members

Thursday, February 27, 2014 - 1:30 PM

EXCITEMENT continues to build on and off the field at the South Fremantle Football Club ahead of the 2014 WAFL season with supporters jumping on board to be part of it with membership already having a significant increase.

While memberships are already up more than 25 per cent on this time last year, the Bulldogs are calling on all supporters and past players to sign up for the 2014 season to be part of the club's resurgence.
South Fremantle's 2014 season is shaping as an exciting one as the Bulldogs' league team shoots to return to finals action in the WAFL for the first time since 2011 on the back of the reserves winning the 2013 premiership, and the colts playing in the last three grand finals.
In order to help achieve that, South Fremantle has signed James Sellar (Melbourne), Ashton Hams (West Coast), Haiden Schloithe (Fremantle) and Steven Verrier (Richmond) fresh out of the AFL system.
On top of that, Josh Pullman (Swan Districts, Queensland), Brock Higgins (East Perth) and Stephen Mills (Queensland) are all new players to the Bulldogs' line-up for 2014.
Not only that, but there will be plenty of occasions for all members to be part of at Fremantle Oval throughout 2014 not to mention the return to prominence of night football at the port.
There will be Friday night games against Perth in Round 2, East Perth in Round 3, Subiaco in Round 22 and Peel Thunder in Round 23.
South Fremantle will also host the traditional Foundation Derby in 2014 against East Fremantle on Monday June 2 in another fixture that all members will not want to miss.
Becoming a member is also a tremendous way for past players of the South Fremantle Football Club to stay involved and continue to contribute to the current health and future well-being of the Bulldogs that has been such a big part of their lives.
In particular, the South Fremantle Football Club is calling on all past players of the Bulldogs from 1985 onwards to sign up and be part of the club's future.
There are also a host of membership options available so everyone will be able to find a membership for them.
There is a Past Players & Officials Membership for those past players, for example.
However, other membership packages include Season Passes, Centurion Club, Country Membership, Family Membership and Junior Memberships.
