2013 Joint raffle - apology from Sharks CEO
The East Fremantle Football Club apologises to our colleagues at South Fremantle, the Board of Directors, members and raffle supporters for the way in which raffle results for permit number LS042092 were advertised in the West Australian on Tuesday November 5th, 2013 described as an East Fremantle Football Club raffle.
Whilst the East Fremantle Football Club was the permit holder for raffle, both Clubs entered an agreement which resulted in South Fremantle Football Club receiving 100% commission on all tickets that they distributed and sold to their members and supporters.
On reflection the East Fremantle acknowledges that whilst only being motivated to comply with the conditions of holding in the permit in advertising the result, we have not reflected the partnership between the East Fremantle and South Fremantle Football Clubs in promoting the Travelworld Willetton Raffle in 2013.
Both Clubs were represented at the draw of the raffle by their Business Development personnel; Kate Argent (EFFC) and Melissa Marsh (SFFC) and the tickets were drawn by staff of Travelworld Willetton.
