A Message from the President
South Fremantle Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of accomplished sports administrator Cameron Britt as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Bulldogs.
Mr Britt is a high-performing sports administration professional with more than a decade of experience in senior and highly strategic roles. His most recent role has been Chief Executive of the Wanneroo Basketball Association – Joondalup Wolves where he increased membership by 62 per cent and total revenue by more than 75 per cent.
Mr Britt also has significant AFL club experience as Community Manager and Head of Community at the Essendon Football Club where he managed community and fan engagement strategies. In addition, he led the strategic direction and operational management of the club's large community team responsible for the delivery of program performance targets and operational objectives.
Mr Britt was also responsible for identifying and securing new partner revenue and commercial opportunities, and growing the club’s supporter base by increasing engagement with existing and emerging fans.
Mr Britt was the 2019 winner of the WA Business News 40under40 awards which identify the year’s 40 outstanding young business men and women who are delivering significant outcomes in their chosen fields.
Mr Britt has a proven track record in achieving high-level objectives including leading high-performing teams, developing and implementing commercial strategy, facility planning negotiation and redevelopment, financial management, along with a strong history in stakeholder engagement and change management.
He has successfully worked within high-profile, high-impact professional organisations and is tertiary qualified with a Bachelor of Business (Sports Management) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
He replaces 200-game South Fremantle Football Club legend Tom Bottrell who led the club since January 2017 until taking up a role in July 2019 as Executive Manager of Country Football and Facilities at The WA Football Commission.
Please join us in congratulating Mr Britt on his appointment and welcoming him to our great club.
Mr Britt will commence his position with the Club on Monday the 4th of November.
