Player Column – Josh Pullman NAIDOC Round

Friday, July 7, 2017 - 4:14 PM by Josh Pullman

We’ve got Claremont this week in a big game at their renovated deck. It's been a long time since I've played a game at Claremont Oval so I'm looking forward to checking it out.

We are also coming off the bye so we are all pretty keen to get back into it on Saturday and we know it's a big game for both teams.

It's also our celebration of NAIDOC Week and that's special to quite a few guys at our club so we know it's a special occasion for them and we want to help them celebrate with a win.

It’s also Haiden ‘Scooter’ Schloithe’s 100th game, which is a significant feather in his cap. His footballing prowess and fantastic year will no doubt be in the spotlight too, this week.

Among the playing group, he’s earned respect for his training standards, exposure at AFL level, super-competitive nature, confidence in big games, general banter around the club, and now for his growing tenure at the Dogs.

We’ll be looking to make it a memorable one for him and the club as we kick off an important six weeks ahead.

Bring on the Tigers.
